Meet The Team
John Akinyemi (FCMA, CIPFA)- Director
John founded Cofie Limited in 2001. He is a Fellow and Member in Practice of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Fiance and Accountancy. John stated his accountancy career working for Crossfileds & Lever Brother, a Unilever Company. He has worked as a consultant, managing director and finance director before founding Cofie Ltd. He has a wealth of experience in the accountancy sector and for the past 20 years has worked in the education and not for profit sector. He now specialises in multi-academy trusts. John has worked with clients throughout all regions of England.
Johnathan Akinyemi (FCCA, Msc, Grad CG, OLY)- Chartered Certified Accountant
Johnathan joined Cofie Ltd in 2010. Between then and now Johnathan has competed in two Olympic games whilst working at Cofie LTD. He is a Fellow and member in practice of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, graduate member of the Chartered Governance Institute and has an Msc in accounting and finance. Johnathan works with multi academy trusts, charities and SMEs. Johnathan has an in depth knowledge of these sectors and has worked with clients across the North West and Yorkshire. He has successfully completed The Chartered Governance Institute's Certificate In Academy Governance.
